You will only be able to login if you have been sent an email by your appropriate MOD authorising Personnel. Service Leavers will need to contact their Single Service Representative – see the ELCAS page for more information by selecting the appropriate drop down for Service Leavers.
How do I know which tier I am eligible to claim?
To qualify for the Higher Tier claims of £2000 funding per annum (x3) you are required to complete a minimum of eight years service.
To qualify for the Lower Tier funding of £1000 per annum (x3) you are required to have completed a minimum of four years service.
Left the forces and looking to use ELCAS Funding?
Remember you must start your training before the 10 year anniversary of your last official day of service.
Can I use my IRTC towards the cost of the training?
Yes, once in your resettlement period you can use the IRTC and ELCAS funding to offset your personal contribution towards the training – you must pay the balance owed. If you need the IRTC claim form contact us.
Can I use my SLC towards the training?
You can use an SLC claim with your IRTC but not with an ELCAS claim. This is beneficial for those who do not have access to ELCAS funding as they have used it for other training courses.
What if I am medically discharged?
You should always refer to ELCAS in the first instance taking guidance from your IERO (Resettlement Officer) – they will refer you to JSP 822 alongside DIN 2021 DIN01-052. For the latest updates from ELCAS click here.
